Early Identification and Screening

Vision

There is scant data on the types and frequency of screening and appropriate referrals for children in need of mental health & substance use services in CT. The vision of the Early Identification and Screening workgroup is to align all state agencies to ensure consistent and predictable screening followed by accessible and affordable referral and treatment.

Goal

The goal of the Early Identification and Screening workgroup is to screen all children ages 0-18 in CT at the earliest stage of contact for behavioral health needs.
