Provide Input for Connecticut’s Family First Planning

The Family First Prevention Services Act (Family First) reforms federal child welfare financing streams to provide services to families who are at risk of entering the child welfare system. The bill aims to prevent children from entering foster care by allowing federal reimbursement for mental health services, substance use treatment, and in-home parenting skill training.
Connecticut is in the process of developing a Family First plan to enhance services to children and families. Your input is valued and needed to inform Connecticut’s Family First planning. Please provide input below. Any identifying information will be removed and input will be compiled anonymously.
